The Season Has Just Started

The World Cup mountain biking season for the year 2009 has just started. The second race was held in Offenburg, Germany on 25 & 26 April 2009.

Guest who won the elite men's race? Of course Julien Absalon. He got second during the first event of the season.

As I mentioned in one of my previous blogs.. watch out for the Chinese ladies! Yes.. Cheng Yuan Ren won in Offenburg.



Lets look back to the first race that was held in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, 10-12 April 2009. This event is classic because it has all three major disciplines of mountain biking at one place i.e. cross country, downhills and four cross together.

For cross country, one of them said "The climb is much more longer than in Beijing Olympics".

Anyway, here are the winners:
